The Heart Behind Solace & Cedar

I’m an adventurer at heart who feels most at home in the mountains, finds joy in meaningful conversations, and believes nature has a remarkable way of helping us reconnect with ourselves.

Friendships matter

Some of the women who have shaped my life started as strangers. Over the years, I’ve been lucky enough to find friendships that have encouraged me, challenged me, laughed with me, and sat beside me when life was hard. I know how powerful it can be to be in the company of other women and to feel friendships grow. Those are exactly the moments I want to create with Solace & Cedar.

My Dream

Solace and Cedar grew from my belief in nature’s restorative power and my love of bringing women together. I wanted to create the kind of place I’m always drawn to-somewhere beautiful and welcoming where you can step away from the demands of everyday life, slow down, and have a little adventure, laugh, talk, and simply be.

Nature heals me

Whenever life feels noisy, I find myself searching for some little piece of nature to quiet my mind. Sometimes it’s a mountain trail, a walk along the beach, or just sitting barefoot in my backyard. There is something about being outside that helps me slow down, breathe deeply, and remember what really matters. Nature has always been where I go to find my way back to myself.

My Roots

While Solace and Cedar was born from a love of nature, it’s also supported by decades of walking alongside others through life’s joys, challenges, and transitions. Bringing women together has long been a part of who I am, and creating spaces where they can slow down, connect, and feel at home in nature is a natural extension of that journey.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology, am certified in Sylvotherapy (forest bathing), and have spent more than 15 years leading and mentoring teams. These experiences have shaped the way I create and lead retreats-with intention, compassion, and a deep understanding that every woman arrives with her own story.

I hope that you leave feeling a little lighter, more grounded, and reminded of what can happen when we give ourselves space to simply be.

I can’t wait to welcome you!
